This study aims to outline The Islamic Perspective on The Doll Clamp Machine Game according to the Central MUI and Purworejo MUI as well as compare and analyze the reasons for the decision of the Central MUI and Purworejo MUI fatwa regarding the law of the doll claw machine game

This research uses types of normative legal research and collecting legal materials using literature study techniques (bibliography study), namely the study of written information about law originating from sources of legal materials in the form of the Al-Qur'an, Hadith, Fatwa Dsn-Mui, textbooks, research results in journals, opinions of scholars and law journals as well as related articles. The approach used is comparative because in this study the author will compare two legal fatwas, namely the Central MUI fatwa and MUI Purworejo.

The results showed that the Central MUI in its 2007 fatwa concerning Games on Media/Game Machines Managed by Members of the Indonesian Family Recreation Association (ARKI) stated that the claw machine game is mubah (permissible) because the reward (reward) obtained is based on the player's skills, while the Purworejo MUI in its fatwa Number: 37/MUI/KAB/X/2022 Concerning the Law of Claw Puppet Machine Games said that the claw doll machine game is haram because it contains an element of gambling. The difference of opinion that occurred in the two fatwas was based on taking the same argument or legal basis but with different interpretations so that the results of the issued fatwas were also different. To address the existence of two different fatwas The effort that was first deployed was to use the al-jam'u wa al-taufiq method so that the game of claw machine dolls can be punished as permissible if certain conditions are met and can also be punished as unlawful if there is an activity with an element of gambling in it.
