In implementing cash waqf, there are mechanisms and management that must be taken into account so that cash waqf can be in accordance with Islamic law and positive law. The aim of this research is to find out how the mechanisms and management are implemented by BWI Tangerang City. This research uses the Empirical Juridical approach, which is a method or procedure used to solve problems by first examining existing secondary data and then continuing with research on primary data in the field. The data used is primary data, namely data obtained directly from the field using questionnaires and interviews, as well as secondary data obtained using the literature study method. The data analysis used is qualitative analysis where conclusions are drawn deductively. Based on the research results, it can be seen: The implementation of Cash Waqf at BWI Tangerang City has not been implemented optimally. This is due to several factors, namely (a). Lack of professional Nazir training (b). BWI Management in Tangerang City is Not Yet Maximum. (c). Lack of government attention to BWI Tangerang City (d). Overlapping Work and Priorities with Baznaz (e). Lack of Public Understanding about Cash Waqf. The implementation of cash waqf in Tangerang City is generally not in accordance with Islamic law and statutory regulations. In its implementation, BWI pays little attention to existing regulations, such as targets aimed at schools. In schools, most of the children do not yet meet the requirements to be wakif. Basically, scholars agree that the conditions for becoming a wakif are: Independent, of sound mind, an adult, not under guardianship. The Wakif must be an adult and hand it over not because of coercion but from a sincere desire. and in Cash Waqf there are mechanisms that must be implemented. so that cash waqf can be in accordance with Islamic law and positive law.
